Not quite cut out: house numbers, signs and signs

This is my second time ordering them, the first packaging was excellent. If you tore a number or letter off the sheet, they stayed clean. In the second pack I received (about 1 week later than the first) I had to carefully cut off each number and letter I wanted to remove using a rotary knife to snip off the areas that were still attached to the main foil . This caused me to break a letter or two. It's bad if you have a limited number of snippets for each letter/number.

Pros
  • Excellent overall quality

  • Not sure

You may need 2 packs

I was disappointed to only find one of several letters. Since you'll need to attach them to both sides, you may have to improvise. There was only one W, and I live in Wisconsin, so I used an inverted M on the other one. Looks weird, but I'm not that special. Just a letter K so I cut out other letters to build one. It looks fun too. This side of the boat looks like my kids wrote the letters. If you have a repeating number or letter, be careful. I've had them for a week now and they're still…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Too late to start! Then when I went to separate the connected squares for the letter I needed (which should have come apart very easily due to the pre-cutting), THEY DID NOT SEPARATE. It has completely torn/ruined all the letters at the base of this square. I will definitely be sending them back but luckily I managed to get the letters I needed from the set and we don't have time to wait for another set to arrive! Glad they weren't too expensive. I think you get what you pay for.

Class A signs, letters and numbers

Mounted about a month ago on an exterior wall exposed to direct sunlight for several hours a day throughout the year. So far, so good. I cleaned the surface before applying and then carefully smoothed it out. I used both numbers and letters and they all separated easily. No additional glue or top seal required. As mentioned, they only operated for about a month, but during that time they stayed in place despite some extreme temperature changes in late summer/early fall (38°F to 80°F). and…

Residue repositioning on vinyl

That's very nice. They are a bit thin (width) for use on a banner that will be visible from afar, in my opinion, but there are other brands that are a bit wider. Adhesion is excellent. They can be moved but are a bit more "sticky" than other brands so they leave a sticky mark. I was able to remove it with "Elbow Lube" and a cleaner. The price is fantastic as the other brand I am talking about costs twice as much. (Westcott, Letter Craft, now available under the new name C Thru Vinyl). You can't

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Reliability

These letters are best described using the Arial Narrow font style. We would have liked a wider, regular-width character in bold. They are a real 3 inches tall. Adhesion is good. They are thermally (heat) cut so the edges, while very usable, are not precision 'razor blade'/knife blade processing. It was primarily intended for boat and sports car registration numbering, but was useful for many other purposes as well. We needed to restore the function of a solar address plate with badly faded…

Pros
  • Very good value

  • I say nothing

Difficult to use doesn't cut well

In terms of sticking these things are pretty good, in fact they stick too well to the sheet they come on. I think the problem is with the punching machine used. When I tried to remove the one "W" they give you, pulled, tore, bent, see picture. Luckily, MI could be turned upside down, but after learning the W the hard way, I used a razor blade to circle the remaining letters before removing them from the sheet. Even then, some "fuzzy" came out, like the letter A in the picture. Advantages:…
