Homedics® Bathroom Platform Measures Accurate Review

I bought one for my mother and she was so happy with it that I ordered one for me and my husband. The black numbers on a light blue background are perfectly sized and easy to read. You can climb, get up and get up again and your weight stays the same, so we're sure the weight shown is correct. The surface is pleasant to walk on and easy to clean. Precise scales at an affordable price.

The scale worked great when I bought it. Unlike others, I liked the audible signal that tells me the weight is ready to read. However, after only 10 months of use, it suddenly died without warning. It caught fire but registered no weight. I changed the batteries, pressed the reset - the weight is still unreadable. Homedics has many manuals on their website but none for the SC-410. We shop at Revain often and use the reviews when making purchasing decisions. We bought this scale locally because of the great price and because we love supporting local businesses. However, we bought it to replace another Homedics that was starting to become unreliable. We found this unreliable on the low-pile carpet in the bathroom, but it was fine on the hardwood floor in the living room.
