It was good for a while, but now it sucks.

Worked very well for a few months but now it sucks. I'm pretty sure it's because I can't clean one of the filters unless I take everything apart, which I don't because it's ridiculous, so I'd go with something else where all the filters are easy are accessible.

  • Heavy Duty

Don't waste your money

I know what you're thinking. On hot summer days, look for something cheap to cool your house or room. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more money on a real air conditioner. This thing needs water, which is normal, but it stinks after a while. It also looks cheap. What is amazing for a Honeywell product.

  • Large selection

Use it every day for heating, cooling and air quality

We will move this space as needed. This helps make our standard size bedroom very comfortable. We also do normal things like closing at 7:30 to keep the cold air in the house. It's easy to move and we use a jug to fill it. The only thing to note is that you leave it in a fully enclosed space, it gets VERY humid in there. So leave the door open or the window ajar.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Minor issues

It was worth it! in Air Conditioners

Tropical heat in Southern California and this thing is my new best friend! It's pretty quiet here, listen to me complain about the heat and bring back a cool breeze. I add a few ice cubes to the water so it's nice and chilled. I also like that it has wheels so I can carry it with me from room to room. For me it was fully utilized and a full water tank lasts for about 8 hours. Another bonus is the humidity it adds to the dry air. It's definitely not "swampy" but just right.

I love it, it chills great for me.

It gets moldy very quickly, you have to clean it more often and it's hard to do, although it's durable, I still recommend it if you're a clean person who does the cleaning most of the time Time. Time when I work, so I don't have much time, and when I want to use it, it gives off a stinky smell due to accumulated water in the tank, although of course, if you don't pour water and just want to use it like a fan, it works too, very good product, just cleaning is not for me when i'm busy with work…

  • Worth the money

It cools the dry air a little

It cools the dry air a little. However, if you are looking for air conditioning, this is not the one. I've found that if I fill up the water tank daily, it doesn't wake me up in the middle of the night with a loud rattling noise. If you forget this, be aware that it might startle you. After purchasing this item, I learned that you can actually cool your space much better by placing a small ice bucket or frozen cold pack behind a table fan. Revolution. If you do, you'll probably need two freezer

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • Weight

I live in southern Colorado, it's 100 degrees. Luckily it arrived in the mail today. I filled it with water and put 2 cups of ice cubes in it and it works really well. My dog sucks in all the air that is in front of her :). I would recommend this to anyone living in southern areas where it's really dry like Colorado. They say open the window but I think it just gets hotter in here because it's so hot outside. If that doesn't work either, I might try breaking the window, but for now my room is…

Pros
  • Don't waste your time
Cons
  • I won't say anything

I had hopes for this device. I think it might work well if it came with an air hose that hooks into the back and then installs on a window where there is insulation = you could get cooler air. For me it worked like a little table fan - if you're a little close. If you step back 2 feet, you'll hardly feel a thing. It doesn't cool down in any way - not even a degree lower. Especially when it's 90 degrees outside and the window is open. Also, mine may be broken. Because no matter which settings…

Pros
  • understandable for the old
Cons
  • Some little things

First. I have admired him for a long time. Perfect for my dry desert climate. But he died when my cat fell off the chair, knocked over the fridge and flooded my room. Second. Another cat was also killed, this lasted through the summer. This summer has come and I really miss my swamp cooler. Third. Extreme disappointment. The fan wasn't even in the bearing that carries it! He floated on his wires and slammed into them. My fiancé probably voided the warranty by placing the fan in the correct spot

Pros
  • Absolutely great!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
