Man these things are awesome. Much better than the springs I had before. It's easy to give them a nice color. I used a 5/32 drill bit to make the holes that were already there slightly larger and those holes screwed in nice and tight. Of the 12 I received, only one was slightly nicked. No bigwig put it in the laundry! Would buy again. Stop looking, these are the ones you need, trust me.

These doorstops are great at life! Goes perfectly with my other black accessories! It was very easy to install. My only issue is that not all doorstops are made equal. I ordered two boxes and each box was perfect, the other half looked like the coating was dripping down the middle and it made screwing it very difficult because the flat head didn't fit properly because the drips made a thick line.

After seeing him pull the white ends off two of them, my husband found them online and ordered them straight away. They've been in place for months and I've seen our kitten try to chew on them but none of the tips have come off (they don't even show any chewing marks). As an added bonus, they look MUCH better than build quality and are very easy to screw in.

I bought a new house that had several different styles of doorstops and decided to swap them all out to match. Overall I am very happy with these doors. I removed the star because it looks like you'll have to install them with a flathead screwdriver after removing the rubber tip. However, in the batch I received the flat head notch was metal so it could not be used. Although there are no problems. I simply wrapped masking tape around the stem to protect it and used an adjustable wrench.

It is not clear why the negative reviews. The product looks so much better than the simple builder spiral stops and is SO easy to install. For the reviewers who had trouble installing, all I can say is you must be doing it wrong. Simply hand tighten it fully, then wrap a cloth around the body of the stop to protect it and use a wrench to finish tightening. So easy! So well made. They are hard, beautiful and thick. I just realized that my package may have 30% defects. As you can see from the photos instead of the flat head there is an extra metal tab that prevents me from using the flat head to drill holes in the wall. Basically I had to throw away maybe half the box but if you installed it would be a hassle to return them all. You also won't know until you remove the rubber stopper on each one.
