Instructions would be nice! Velcro might help too

I needed a woman to help me get dressed. It helps but needs a cutout for the fork to be more efficient. Instructions would be nice! Maybe a velcro fastener will help too.

Use it all winter to reduce air leaks.

Used throughout winter to reduce air conditioning leaks. Worked as advertised and greatly improved the heating efficiency of the room the window unit is in.

Not sure if this fits right.,

I don't know what I was expecting. I figured it would fit outside of the air conditioner. He is but flies. I used clear tape to attach it to the wall. I hope it stays that way until spring. I think I ordered the wrong item. Just trying to get it working I guess.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • lots of stuff

This cover is very easy to put on

This cover is really easy to put on. There are no written instructions but the pictures are easy to follow. I have an air conditioner in the wall that I don't use. Cover with a lid to keep moisture out. It will also be useful in wind and cold weather. I find it important. I am very happy with my purchase.

Pros
  • Top marks for fit and durability from testers
Cons
  • Frequency

Fits perfectly best in Air Conditioning Parts & Accessories

Haven't used yet but tried it on for size and it fits perfectly. Using it as a cover for our window air conditioner for the winter here in Maine, where winter temperatures drop to -30, I can see where it will really help keep our home draft-free and reduce our heating bills. It also helps me NOT to remove the device from the window which is quite a hassle as it weighs 150lbs. Great product to save on our heating bills and my 72 year old back :-).

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Upgradable

Pictures and product description are misleading, Top cover works great

I ordered two of these cases and was expecting to receive 3. Based on the pictures and the description I was expecting a top cover, a 1 inch piece of foam insulation and this sheeting. You don't get a 1 inch foam pad. The images appear to be referencing this piece of foam that goes over the front of your air conditioner and then places the top cover on top of it. The instructions on this product page even state this. You need to talk about the thin foil which I find misleading, as well as the…

It's not worth it. Suitable for heating, cooling and air quality

I bought this because I thought it would be a great product to help me reduce drafts from my air conditioner. I was a little surprised how little attention was paid to the packaging, it was folded into a plastic bag without any information. It needs 2 people to put on and the quality is quite cheap considering the price. I am very disappointed in this item. It doesn't hold up that well and I had to adjust it a few times because it slipped off. Unfortunately every time I have to adjust it it…

Good for winterizing window air conditioners

This coating is a great and VERY easy to install option if you want to prevent cold air from entering through your window air conditioner. Definitely easier than covering the entire window with plastic to block all airflow, especially if you have pets (especially cats) who will most likely tear a hole in the film trying to get in or out of the air conditioner. Make sure you measure the height, width and depth to ensure you get the correct size. Some of these covers match in height and width but

Does a pretty good job especially in combination with another case

I ordered this because I lost what I was using last year. wind outside. But it worked a lot better when I finally found last year's and put it on top. Then I had a two layer cover which is very effective. So I'm glad I ordered it. The double lid works very well. My first one looked just like this one but was brown. HERE'S A TIP on how to put the lid on the AC unit. I kept trying, but it bounced off the first corner every time I pulled to set the second corner in place. (Consider making a bed…
