I was surprised by the total weight of the package. The locks are strong and you can tell they are difficult to cut. I love that it comes with 2 credit card sized "keys" and 2 for keychains. At first I thought you had to pull the card into the slot to open it, but you just slide it in from the side and you're done. It's in TSA's interest to have room for a physical key if they need to open it, but I think it's much more secure than a combination or key lock.

Less than I thought. Installed on my trunk it seems more difficult to open for some reason. Certainly not super strong locks, but they look good. I was surprised to see a keyhole on the back! Not a word about it in the ad. So I looked for a key and figured I could use a card or a key! I finally found out that security has a master key, which doesn't make me very happy. I like the concept so I give it 5 stars. I'm so tired of always trying to figure out which keys go with which lock when I travel. HOWEVER, here's the downside: I ordered two locks and each had a different code. Since there are 4 cards in each lock, there is no need to mark the keys and lock them with a code. It would be great if you could request the same lock code when ordering or request a specific lock code when re-ordering. the same code.

I took a chance because they have a thicker temple and the locking notch is in the toe rather than the heel like many cheaper brands. I use them on my Pelican case and the cheaper ones tend to get cut off easily during handling. The overall quality seems higher than the less expensive ones I've bought (and lost) and they definitely feel more durable.
