The best winder!

I really like this yarn winder. I didn't like the cheap looking plastic bottles so I bought these instead. It was a bit more expensive, but since it's made of wood, it should be more durable than plastic. That works great! I have rolled small cakes into very large ones. He holds them all! It's very easy to use. However, I have to remind myself to remove the belt each time I'm done so it doesn't stretch. Nothing is easier to set up and use. Amazing perfection!

I just wound up a 400+ meter skein of wool. The standard small plastic winders couldn't handle that kind of load and I ended up with a mess on the wound ball. But this curler is out of this world! I didn't even have to use a clamp to secure it to the edge of the table: I found that I could use my left hand to hold the curler in place while my right hand rotated the treated round piece, although it was occasionally quick Pause to keep your left hand from tiring. I've been using a cheap little plastic ball roller for a number of years. It was great while it lasted, but something broke and it started making a loud clicking noise as I unwound the yarn. I did some research to switch to a log winder. I've looked at a few of them. I chose this product because of the brand, the price and because all the reviews were 5 stars.
