Good product for the price

This game is good for the price and one of the few games I could find for practicing lowercase letters. My son loves making up his own rules using popcorn letters. Two letters are difficult to read. h looks too much like n and q looks weird. (Maybe just fix them with permanent marker.) He prefers this to the alphabet island game and the Smartpops ice cream toys, which he rarely touches. The best resource we found for learning lowercase letters was a book called Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. My son…

Better than cards!

A little boy (4 years old) loves this game. It can be played in a variety of ways (*with a little creativity not provided for in the manual). I only use capital letters and 3 clap when teaching the little guy letters first to avoid disappointment. He then uses a carpet of letters that he sings with and finds letters that he pulls out. Great writing exercise!

I have to give 5 stars because my 4 year old has wanted to play it every night since we got it and now he just has a few letters he doesn't know. I think we will continue to say that the letter sounds next. Like others, we don't play the way the instructions say. We play like this: I take the popcorn, hold it, if he gets an answer he keeps it. Then he takes the popcorn, if he gets an answer he keeps it. If he doesn't know what it is, I keep it. When one of us gets a POP, he jumps up and down…
