It is much more comfortable and stable than collapsible pillows and blankets to get the right angle for comfortable foot elevation. It is high quality and will last for years. It works great on an armchair, coffee table and in bed. This relieves the lower back due to the non-standard instep angle. If one side of your thigh feels tight, raise both legs, there is enough space and it's comfortable.

This leg/ankle/foot foam support is excellent. It comes in a deceptively small box, but it expands to full size when unpacked. I bought this to recover from recent leg surgery and it was perfect. It's lightweight and easy to move around the house. I've been using it for two weeks and it has had a HUGE impact on the swelling and discomfort I was having after surgery. I was really amazed. It's a simple device, but it works wonders and I can't recommend it highly enough.

I am very glad I bought this pillow in preparation for my ankle surgery. Defiantly give the pillow a day or two to fully inflate and form when it comes shrink-wrapped. The thing works well for its intended purpose. It's strong enough to provide good support and big enough to give your leg or foot a proper lift. It's not uncomfortable and doesn't seem to retain much heat, making things feel awkward. However, what makes it really good is making a great cat bed. UPDATED REVIEW: I feel compelled to update my review. I am changing my rating to 4 out of 5 stars. After the foam was worked back and forth, after a day it expanded to a good shape as shown in the picture. It is comfortable and hugs the foot. It works way better than the pillows on my bed.
