🔌 Enhanced Logitech USB To 3.5mm Jack Audio Adapter for Windows 7 & 8 (latest version) Review

Bought in July, hasn't worked since September. The headset still works in stereo when plugged directly into a computer without a dongle with an audio jack, so I know it's not a headphone issue.

This adapter is the same cable that came with the G430 and will register as a G430 in Windows no matter what headset you connect to it. It has been tested and works on Windows 7 and MacBook Pro.

I bought a cheap imitation of one of these and for a little more I could have saved myself time and frustration by just going with this one as if I ended up with a well built and no fuss Plug and Play If you don't sell cheap in the market, you'll regret it, as will I.

Perfect fit for my PS4 Slim and computer speakers that require a 3.5mm headphone jack. If your monitor doesn't have internal speakers and you don't have a headset, I suggest choosing this type because the sound is good and it works well. At first I was a bit afraid it wouldn't work, but I got lucky!

This USB audio adapter offers quite good sound quality. The sound quality is definitely better than my MacPro, MacBook Pro, iPhone, iPod or iPad. Very low noise for a cheap USB audio device. I would recommend it to cheaper stuff. Contrary to some other information, this device does not work with an Apple headset with a built-in microphone. It's not that you can't use a microphone, it's that you can't even get decent sound using a headset with a built-in microphone. I'm not sure why some others…

My headset needed this as my last one was bent on the metal USB connector. Quite expensive for a small piece but it's necessary and better than buying a new headset.
