Installation was fairly easy thanks to the screws provided. It's definitely a solid box with a lock (heavy, thick metal) and it's nice that it has a rubber lid to hide what it is. I found that to figure out how to open and close the lock itself, you have to wiggle a bit to get the face off. The way it snaps into place requires you to grab/pull the shiny metal "open" button and take the top off, then take the entire front up and out. Came exactly like the picture and was very easy to set up. The only thing I really don't like is that you can enter numbers in any order. All you have to do is enter 3 numbers and as long as it's the 3 you set it will unlock. I wanted a lock that was simple enough for my kids to be able to get in and out of the house in an emergency. I bought this as a last resort. My son loses things very easily and I was concerned that he might lose his house key at school. That was the perfect solution for us. The lockable box comes with easy-to-read instructions. It took me less than 5 minutes to open and install the combo.
