Good Reading Lamp: Lights and Ceiling Fans

Received these four days ago; So I can't comment on long-term quality and durability issues. I bought this lamp as a reading lamp. It has two bulbs on each side: one emits more focused light and the other diffused light. The user can turn on a focused light, a more diffused light, or both lamps. The right and left sides have separate switches. A USB cable was included for charging. I bought it as a reading lamp. This light is perfect for my needs.

  • Enjoyable

Space suit Decent good for novelty Lighting

I am posting this review even though my husband uses it. He looks like an astronaut in the dark or a person who has to dance with glow sticks in a disco. But once you get over the shock of having the king of disco in bed next to you, I realized it does a great job of eliminating the night light from a 100-watt lightbulb. Just don't jump up when the alien astronaut looks up from reading his book to see if you're still asleep, not if you're still asleep. This will scare you to death.

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Reliability

Cool idea, but no one seems to have thought of it.

Cool concept, but nobody seems to have figured out how to do it well. A few months ago I ordered a similar flashlight from another Revain seller which never charged. Got a refund and ordered this particular one because there was another seller and they charged 2-3 times and now the charging connector has broken off and is rattling inside. It took until the end of the 30 day refund window this time, so I think I actually lost $15 this time.

Pros
  • Stable test results

Finally I can stay up later without disturbing my husband

I like to read every night before bed, but my husband likes to go to bed early. We've tried lamps, flashlights, and even a pillow wall, but the light still bothers him. I bought these little cuties and they made it. I can finally read in bed late into the night without disturbing my husband! The light is bright and the knobs are adjustable to direct the light where you need it. I downgraded it 1 star because the battery is stiff and sits squarely on the neck and needs some adjustment when…

I use it outside at night. Very diverse! Good product!

Much better than a flashlight or headlamp for walking in the dark Shines light on the ground in front of you hands free. When you look at another person, the light beam doesn't hit them like it does with a headlamp. I'm surprised it isn't advertised as a great camping tool because it is! You can also turn it into a lamp for your tent. Of course, it is also great for reading in the dark, but not only. I wear it when I walk my dogs at night. It enables others to know about us and gives me light…

Lovely little neck lantern - happy with the purchase

As we rearranged the furniture in the living room I knew I would need extra light if I wanted to "design on the couch". And after the last few hurricanes I figured a nice little flexible neck lamp would come in handy in the event of a power outage. I looked at several options here at Revain before deciding to buy this particular one. I like the different levels of illuminance and the fact that the light can be controlled individually. It is not heavy and feels good on the neck. I can say there…

Reliable light source

I've entered the magical age of reading glasses, creaky knees, occasional pain when standing up and invitations from AARP magazines, so it goes without saying that I needed light, so I could mean doing fine crafts, reading books and petting my thousands of cats and shooing away the teenagers that are on my lawn. Activities. I crochet with ease, threading the needles on a sewing machine. The device holds a charge well even when switched off, so you only need to charge it after 3-4 days of…

Excellent, lasts but not long

Bought in the summer and gifted to my daughter in early August. She hung it on the bed rail and hasn't moved it since. It stayed neatly positioned on her bed with no rough use. She used it every night for 1-2 hours. In late October, after less than three months of use, she started seeing one of the lightbulbs flicker. We told her to turn off that bulb and just use the others as they still put out enough light. Now, at the end of November, there are problems with three of the four bulbs. After…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use

  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
