This photo is after the 2nd wash. I bought a double bed and love that it covers the end of the bed. I was expecting there to be a lot more dropouts after reading the reviews but it wasn't too bad. It didn't catch on either. I washed with Vulite. It is very light which is why I bought it. If you are looking for something heavy, this is not for you. If you are looking for a nice lightweight summer comfort throw, this is the one for you.

The yellow color of the blanket is nice. But the fabric is pretty thin. I was hoping it would get a little thicker/firmer after washing. Not only did it not get thicker, but the pile that separated from it was awful! During the light cycle and low temps, I still had to clean the dryer vent TWICE. Both times it was completely full. There will likely be a nice thin layer between the sheets and the quilt. But I wouldn't expect there to be much heat.

This duvet was thinner than I expected but I took a chance and didn't look at the reviews that said it sheds a lot of lint in the wash. In the dryer I had to clean the dryer vent every 5 minutes (no kidding) because it was completely clogged with lint. After washing it I couldn't return it. I haven't used it but use it as a thin extra blanket when needed or can use in the dog bed.

The gray color of the quilt is very comfortable, and the size of the quilt is good; The weight of the blanket is light and comfortable, and the feel of the blanket is quite soft; However, after washing in cold water (as indicated) prior to use, the woven quilting exhibited numerous "strains" in the fabric, and these stresses are very noticeable in the light gray quilting. Also, the duvet lost a HUGE amount of lint when tumble dried (as advertised). It almost clogged the tumble dryer vent pipe…

This blanket claims to be 100% cotton. MAY BE. On good days with blinkers. It is very loosely woven, very light; you can almost see through it. I immediately washed it in cold water like the label says. Maybe hoping it tightens that sloppy weave a bit, I don't know exactly, but. It came out of my (35 min) gentle dryer with "peeling" on it! I love this blanket! I ordered it for a guest double bed with yellow and white checkered ruffles and pillow pads. The yellow blanket fits just right. The fabric was very loose as received and I was thinking of returning it. The washing instructions were to wash in cold water and tumble dry low.
