Excellent way to hide cords

The cable clutter under my desk is out of control. Laptop, Chromebook, desk lamp, ceiling lamp, printer, heater - I was fidgeting, so I was constantly kicking, tangling and disconnecting cables. Enter this field: I now have a stool and my cables won't trip. It's not very thick plastic, so don't play soccer with it. But for a good box with holes and a lid, it's aesthetically pleasing and serves its purpose.

Pros
 • Measuring 12" in length, it fits into any space in power strips < 12" in length and keeps any extra cords neat and tidy.
Cons
 • Appearance

Great but the lid is coming off

We use this in our living room to organize our cables and love the look and design. My only issue with this is that the lid comes off VERY easily so it's almost always slightly ajar just because the lifting cables move to use them. We use it for photo and baby monitor cords but for organizing cords that don't get touched often I'm sure it would be perfect and it still looks better than an exposed extension cord.

Pros
 • Very impressive
Cons
 • Crumpled packaging

Suitable for simple standard plugs.

I bought these to keep my cords/plugs away from my cat. It has three major design flaws. 1) They should be about 1-2 inches taller. Not all connections are created equal. Rectangular box end caps are difficult to fit into these containers. Because of this, the lids do not fit neatly. You can see it in the picture. 2) Lids should have a deeper seat so they sit more securely in the box. These lids pop out at the slightest movement. It would be nice to add a secure clasp. 3) These boxes must be…

Slightly poor quality: Floor cable covers

I've been waiting all week to finally organize the cables on my desk that were driving me crazy, but when they arrived I was disappointed and I wanted to use them. The lid is incredibly lightweight, only slightly clinging to the top of the white plastic container. The plastic appears to be of good quality but there is no grommet or snap mechanism. So if you have thick cables or a lot of them, the lid just pops off. I ended up having to seal the lid with tape, which ruins the nice finish and…

Attractive but difficult to install

I replaced the ugly grey/white plastic box that was keeping my cat and Roomba away from the wires. This one is much more attractive and practical, it seemed to me, because of the side slots for the cables. Mmm, not really. I just plugged in the extension but when I plugged in the cables it would have been nice to have an extra arm or two. The cords wouldn't stay in their grooves without a cover, but okay, that's okay. I have a couple of adapters that I plug in - for Kindle, Alexa, and USB - and
