Works best in CB

Does a good job of noise reduction. You need a good second outdoor antenna to get the best results. Requires practice through sensitive controls.

Pros
  • fixed radios designed to reduce noise or interference, or to enhance desired signals before the noise affects sensitive receiver circuitry.
Cons
  • Very expensive

MFJ-1026 Excellent Performer!

The performance of the MFJ-1026 is outstanding! At 40 meters, S9 becomes S0! resolve contacts that would have been overlooked.

Pros
  • Frequency range 1.8 to 30 MHz
Cons
  • Almost everything included

If you use it for its intended purpose, it's amazing.

Comes with a small internal antenna but I didn't really need it. When I connected another external antenna to it, I was able to experience the magic of interference cancellation. It works by receiving two signals on the same frequency but with different antennas and allows you to adjust the phase between them for your radio. There are videos on YouTube showing how it works.

Pros
  • Works in all modes: SSB, AM, CW, FM
Cons
  • Contact Seller
