Excellent Tyre: Tires and Wheels

Ninja 1000 ABS ridden with the same rear tire (although the rear is over 55). Completely redesigned handling, lighter steering, more confidence in hard lean angles than the OE. You have to learn to ride again. Much better at tar snakes. A friend nearly lost his HD in a road rut (feet at 55mph), I drive right through it with little interference. Not sure how it works but a definite improvement. OE lasted about 6000 miles. These should last a lot longer.

Pros
  • Tires and Wheels
Cons
  • Scarce Manual

Maybe suitable for other bikes?

This tire was great from the start but I started to bleed. The tire had about 1500 miles on it or so. Before installing this tire, I installed a fork spacer to ensure the front fork is stable. I don't know if it's the design of my bike's tires or the tire size. Too bad I won't be buying another one in this design. But the rear did a great job.

  • Automotive
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is fine

I rode this tire across the country on a 2007 FJR1300.

I put about 4,000 miles on this tire over a 2 week trip, including trips to Dragon's Tail in Tennessee and Sturgis, South Dakota. Well-managed corners, long straights and rain. It flattened out towards the end of the ride due to the long straights but probably still had 1000-1500 miles on it when I sold the bike if the new owner wasn't too picky about the corners.
