Bad product and unethical company!

11/20/17. About two months ago the switch light went out. I contacted the seller and they told me they would send a replacement switch. A month has passed and nothing! So much for your guarantee if you don't back it up! Don't waste your time with this unethical seller! the wiring harness that came with my Hella 500ff headlights. Added 130w bulbs and has been working great for a few weeks now.

Excellent value for money, could be perfect with a few upgrades

Good quality cables and switches. The two things that could have been better are the instructions (including the size of the hole to drill to install the switch) and I didn't like the built in connection of the relay to the switch. Most installations require cables to be routed through a small slot in the existing firewall grommet, so I cut out the built-in connector, routed the cables through the grommet, and connected the cables under the dash. The rest of the installation was quick and easy.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

the first one i received i miswired and burned (my mistake). Everything about it was perfect and deserves a 5 star rating. I reordered the exact same product but did not receive what I ordered. It comes with two wires, but one of the wires is only about a foot long and the other about five. Luckily the wire to the switch was the only wire that blew and I connected enough wires together to get the correct length. Edit: I also noticed that the switch on the old one was the same length as 2 wires…

Mass produced shorts

Although the tag appeared to be of good quality it was not. The spade terminals for the lights were not crimped properly and 3 out of 4 popped off immediately. Also, there is no RFI protection in the wiring harness, just rubber wire insulation, no drainage, no foil shielding, nothing. It would also be nice to extend some plugs, the 2 wires to the headlight are too short and I had to make an extension. Anyway, I've still used it with mods and it really works. I pick up a lot of radio…

Much easier with this harness

Pretty much everything you need. Although a derailleur was included in this kit, I used a separate derailleur that suited my car better. However, it would be nice if the schematic showed which of the two wires from the switch was power and which was load - ground clearly black. terrible; However, I would have preferred the nylon connector to be much closer to the relay. Since the harness connector cannot go through the grommet or grommet, this limits the length of the cabin and I came very…

Good follower. No problem.

This is a good product and easy to install. I chose this harness after reading some negative reviews about some of the other harnesses. My biggest concern was burning wires and possible damage to the car. For that reason I overdid it a bit. I ordered this heavy duty wiring harness which far exceeds my performance requirements. I installed this wiring harness to power two of my 18 watt headlights on the front window pillar of my 2013 Jeep Wrangler. The package arrived safely, all parts are in…

Nice hanger with some features

Used this hanger to mount ceiling lights on my FJ-C. Can't match the price it would cost to build your own harness. Decent wires. Unfortunately they are not long enough for a roof mount (at least on the FJ). I had to add extra wires to the power accessory (not a big problem). The problem I had was that if you installed the relay in the engine bay, the wire was long enough to get to the battery, but the switch wire was too short to get to my cab trim. If you installed the relay in the cab, the…

Rated Dangerous and Inaccurate

If you really plan to use these harnesses near the upper limit of the stated limits, please read this. 180W/300W/600W come with 16GA/14GA/12GA cabling respectively. These cable sizes allow a very significant voltage drop of 10% over 20 feet (battery to relay, battery to battery) at 13.8V and can handle loads of up to 125W/250W and 310W respectively. When using a critical load that "compromises the safety of passengers in a vehicle or vessel" such as B. Position lights, the allowed voltage drop…

How to Wire Without a Switch

If, like me, you're used to the old archaic relays typically sold at local car dealerships, you know what to activate the relay (usually where the switch is installed is). I was surprised how much easier it is to install relays these days and it made it very easy to connect the ground and positive terminals to the battery. My problem was that I couldn't get the cables into the cabin because my car has a very tight firewall and there is no place to get my hand or anything for the inside switch…
