The only brand I buy is

They work great. I lost my holder for them long ago so I could filter milk into glasses (a teenager's wine cleaning dishes in weird places) but I just bend them into a funnel shape, hold them in one hand, and pour the other. Other. No problem and they protect against hair and dirt.

Suitable for filtering vegetable oil

I use it to filter cornmeal/flour etc out of my frying oil after frying the fish. The oil should be warm, but they clean the oil well. Just place one at the bottom of the middle screen. This allows me to use the oil over and over again. If you don't filter the impurities in your oil, it will last a long time.

I use them to filter my french press coffee

I've found that french press coffee contains substances that raise cholesterol because it my husband and i are addicted to coffee in a french press i tried adding a disc coffee filter to the press but it was useless and the coffee had the same amount of oils and residue when i put it through a cone filter poured.. I think the problem was that adding an extra filter just forced the coffee to push against the sides of the filter and take the path of least resistance, so I tried those, leaving the
