Both covers perfectly protect our new air conditioner. We have a dense forest farm in a northern climate. The heavier cover protects the AC unit from snowmelt. The included lighter tarpaulin protects the unit from leaves falling through the top of the unit in the fall. I put a frost board under the winter tarpaulin to raise it a bit in the middle. Melting snow easily slides off the surface.

Purchased 36" x 36" for my new 33" x 33" Trane 3 Ton Air Conditioner. This way the covers stick out a few inches from the corners of the device, which is fine with me, just a bit more extra protection. I am very satisfied with the result. "Two packs" is a real bargain. It's just a shame I didn't know it existed until I bought the cover art of MW's "Summer" single. Well, it never hurts to have a spare on hand.

I thought the 2 parts were identical and as I have 2 independent air conditioners I ordered them. But it's not the same. One is made of screen material and the other is made of plastic film. I can live with that because my only goal is to keep leaves out of the air conditioning compressors. But the other inconsistency is that Revain only provided 4 elastic cords to attach to so I feel like I've run out of money. I KNOW my Trane air conditioner has a cover to protect it from the elements BUT my neighbor has 60 foot tall white pines that are falling and needles are flying all over the place. I bought the largest lid with small holes which I figured would prevent pine needles from getting in. This is the largest cover I could find, but the conditioner circumference and top cover are too big for it. Bought these specifically for a hard coat to use in the fall to prevent leaf accumulation. It's great for that and I'm happy with the purchase in that regard. The network coverage was a pleasant surprise. We have evergreens that thrive in the warmer months where the mesh version comes in handy for protection from pine needles and pine cones.
