Moen Commercial M-DURA PosiTemp Showerhead and Handheld 🚿 Showerhead Set - Classic Brushed Nickel (Valve not Included) Review

Looks as it should (advertising is not misleading). Bought because of the MOEN name and while not disappointed I am actually very pleased with the look, feel and perceived quality of the product.

I've had this product on my remodeled show for about 9 months. That looks great. Some people have complained about water stains and finishes. I wipe down the plumbing after every shower. No stains after 9 months.

Please note that you will only receive the finished hardware. There are no corresponding instructions and valves (requires 2 valves). The hardware is actually very solid and nice, but plan on hiring a plumber to install everything.

We bought this to renovate our bathroom. When I bought this. Thought I'd only buy this for the shower (not for the shower in the tub). Well, this faucet can also be used in the bathtub shower. It doesn't matter much to us. Besides all the love for moen products, having two shower heads is a big plus.

It's beautiful and works well but the divertor trim kit didn't fit and we had to buy the correct set for another $70. 😣 The problem was easily solved, but I'm unhappy that I had to spend extra time and money. Not such a good deal, after all.

I liked the quality of the components, except for the manual bypass valve to connect water. It had plastic threads and a metal body and had a wall diameter of 1-7/8 inch. I chose a Grohe three piece bypass valve with metal threads so you can fit it on the wall and 2 1/2 inch diameter on the wall.

Good quality - I am happy with everything about this Moen shower set. Note that if you buy this you will need to purchase two additional valves, each costing around $100. Shop these items at competitive prices. Conveniently, Revain sells other bathroom items to go with this shower set. We've been using it for 6 months with no problems. My elderly mother is easy to deal with.

Nice looking set. Two negative points: The hand shower has a round spray shape without a splash in the middle, a kind of hole where there is no water. I would like a more even distribution. The second downside is that the on/off valve has to be turned a full circle, from hot to cold, to turn it off while showering. As a result, cold water will hit you when you turn it on again. The temperature must then be adjusted to start the shower again. I would prefer a pressure valve where the temperature

Installed in a renovated bathroom and there is hardly any water flow from the portable and although the water comes from the fixed head the pressure is low. . I removed the heads to make sure it was a valve issue and both hose (for portable) and pipe (from wall) flow fine. So the problem is in the head. Contacting Moen is pointless.
