Very good quality and sound at a reasonable price. You look great. Installed @

Installed these as overhead speakers for my Martin Logan. I bought these as they have proven to be very suitable for my other Martin Logan speakers (Motion 15s and Motion 8) and my electrostatic speakers (Classic ESL 9). The Motions has a folded ribbon tweeter like the Amber.

High quality, crystal clear sound

Excellent quality and perfect for my Atmos application. The sound is better without the separately available metal housing. The highs are somewhat localized due to the ribbon tweeter, but are crisp and clear. Installation is simplified with simple design elements. Bring the power amplifier to life when you use it for home theater.

Amazing value for money! Perfect surround speakers.

I use them for atmos ceiling speakers. For this price I urge you to find another speaker with a ribbon tweeter. My front sound stage consists of a Martinlogan ESL and an ESL-C center with ribbon tweeter. I wanted my surround speakers to match their sound performance and they are perfect. If I were to use them as main speakers I think the Amber series would sound a bit bright, but as surround sound and especially overhead they are perfect.

No help from Monoprice

I bought 8 of these 6.5" in-ceiling ribbon tweeters for my surround sound in my high end basement cinema system. I installed them in a false ceiling. They sound pathetic for bass, even at low levels. It's like woofers flapping. Even at -12 bass it's still annoying and embarrassing. So I called Monoprice tech support. What a joke. They told me these speakers are not designed for home theater sound and cannot explain what to do to fix the problem. My plan was ceiling speakers for high frequencies
