They sent me a used wheel bearing

Very disappointed. They sent me a used wheel bearing. It was covered in rust and clearly not a new product. Returned quickly.

Pros
  • RIGID TESTING -- Extensive testing by MOOG engineers at all stages of design and development for quality you can count on
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine

MOOG-A is head and shoulders above the rest.

Of course, MOOG's wheel hub assembly couldn't be better. You can drive cheaper, MUCH cheaper, but for such an integral part of your car I wouldn't do it - I've done it before and paid dearly for it just two short months later. Don't trust your car to a smaller one, trust me.🀣🀣 I know it's a contradiction in terms, but it's very honest! Definitely cut it out, I hope you got at least a little laugh from this review.

Pros
  • EXTENDED LIFE -- Application-specific advanced raceway design reduces stress, rotation and component heat
Cons
  • There are drawbacks

Unthreaded eyelet hole

I bought a set of these bearings in 2015 and have had them on my shelf for several years. When I installed them on my car, I found that one of the bolt holes was drilled but not tapped. I spent extra money to buy a Moog so I don't have to deal with these quality issues. Buying bearings, new expansion bolts and trying to get a warranty on a part I bought years ago. Update: One of the two Moog wheel bearings I put on the car failed at about 6,000 miles.

Pros
  • PROTECTS FROM WATER AND MUD -- Four lip seal design resists damage by keeping moisture and other contaminants out
Cons
  • Retrofittable
