Fits perfectly and fits right on my 1974 K5 ST90. Looks almost the same. The footrest doesn't rotate a full 90 degrees, but folds back nicely into a flat position. Same leverage and starting ability as the old OEM. The bottom screw is 14mm instead of the factory 10mm. No problem, as the bike's basic tool kit comes with a 14mm wrench. Other reviews led me to believe I would need to modify the bolt but it wasn't necessary. I immediately ordered another one as a replacement.

This part looks good. However, we were surprised by the chemical rubber smell emanating from the spinning spur's rubber bushing. Super nasty industrial rubber smell and it lingers for days even though we unpacked it and left it outside to degas. I keep checking it and it's still not ok to bring it in the house. Ours came in an envelope with several other unrelated items and even the other items had to be left outside to air out.

The molding on this kick starter must be worn out. The one I received was damaged in two ways. The footrest only rotates about 45 degrees before locking onto the kickstarter shaft. I had to grind part of the shaft to allow the footpeg to rotate the required 90 degrees. Also, the threaded hole used with the bolt to attach the starter motor to the starter shaft was not drilled properly to prevent the bolt from slipping past the shaft to attach the kicker.
