I love these best cleaning tools

I've always been looking for a dustpan. My mom had one for many years until it literally fell apart. Their size was large and heavy, so I was a bit disappointed with the size of this one. (The description is correct, the idea wasn't in my head.) But while smaller than I expected, it works great and feels solid. (I'm not sure why Revane would want to know if it's transparent. It's not. It's a scoop.)

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Disappear

Not at all what I expected.

Not at all what I expected. That being said, I should have read the "Product Information" more carefully. In fact, that's a lot less than what I needed and expected from the upcoming Scoop. I've been trying to replace the old one for years. Judging by the picture, this one looked exactly the same, just a lot smaller. My old one was for the garage and yard but this one is too small for this type of work.

Best Shovel Ever

This is the best shovel out there, but you have to use it right. Do not try to put your foot in the space under the top handle. Your foot goes all the way up in front. If you put your foot too far back, the front edge lifts and dirt gets underneath. When you've swept the dirt away, simply push it back with your foot and pick up the rest. If you have balance issues, this measuring spoon may not be for you.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Only available in black

Nice scoop but no 'step on it' feature

Maybe I'm just that side of Bigfoot in the foot area but I don't think my foot slides in that easily Scoop, but apparently this is not the fault of the product. Also, in the handle part, my foot tends to get some dirt under the rim, so I have to take my foot out, tilt the pan, and sweep the last bit. It works great as a regular scoop, but I wouldn't just choose it for the "step on it" feature because it doesn't work very well.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

MY FAVORITE OUTDOOR TOOL

I bought one of these about 20 years ago and it's my favorite tool for picking up dirt and garden debris. I love that you don't have to bend down to hold the pan while sweeping - just slide your foot in the rear handle! However, I accidentally left it in a garbage bag while pruning bushes and it turned into compost! I looked for local shops and couldn't find another. I bought this but unfortunately it's small, fits a kitchen broom and doesn't seem to work as well as my current kitchen dustpan…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Functionality

The Mr Clean version is too small for shop use and work shoes will not fit under the shovel handle the kick area. The original Black and Decker #244001 was great in size and function and could be mounted on a large broomstick but is no longer available. Mr Clean #444963 is smaller than a regular dustpan and the diameter of the broomstick clamp is much smaller so it cannot be compared to the Black and Decker original. If you have a small house and small feet, Mr. Clean might be for you. You…

  • I Won't Tell

Clean This dustpan is small - I think it's too small for the combs on the edges of the cleaning brush. You have to step on it to get any residue in the pan - that's how it's supposed to be used - but at the size, I can't easily step where it should. The width is too small for Mr. Boom. Clean so you end up with junk on both sides if you're not careful. just step on the handle - luckily the shovel feels very sturdy. It snaps easily onto the broom, so that's a bonus - another saving on slopes. I…

The leg fins are the best!

Why don't all shovels have leg ribs? Deep, sturdy, this pan lays flat with no gaps on any hard surface you work with. I mostly take shovels for granted until I flip one full of nasty bits. This design works with standard size brooms and hand brushes. I've used it both indoors and outdoors and it cleans up easily with rinse aid or dish soap if oil or grease gets on it. The rubberized flex edge stays flat, and even my clumsiness hasn't caused debris to fall out of the deep chute or tip over. A…

Purchased from Mr. Clean This dustpan is small - I think it's too small for the combs on the edge to clean the broom. You have to step on it to pick up all the dirt.
