EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO CONNECT

Worst cable I've ever used in 30 years of networking. While this cable transmits flawlessly, the solid orange color is too large to fit in RJ45. I first confirmed that I am even using Cat6 45. YES. After 4+ hours of struggling on 4 outlets I was only able to plug in 1 outlet that worked. 4 connections shouldn't have taken more than 5-10 minutes. It was Saturday and I couldn't get any more connections. I ended up having to pull out the whole cable and replace it. Throw it in the trash can. On…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Volume

I have used this company's network cable many times and it has always been a good value for the money cable. When I received this box I was a bit unsure about the glossy finish on the outer case. This actually made it easier to plug the cable into the RJ45 jacks. Compared to other manufacturers' cables I've used, this cable allows me to make a patch cord about two-thirds faster. The wire is a solid core and holds its position well as it slides into the connector. The bandwidth is really good…

CCA Non-Solid Copper

I walked 1000 feet for a Category 6 HDMI installation. Total cable length was 2000 feet, only my Category 5 wires worked. If the telco issued a certificate, all the Cat6 lines would fail. The ends were fine, the cable was in bad condition, had to be removed and rerouted 1000ft of Cat.6. Maybe it was a bad batch, everything seemed to be of good quality but the cable was bad. One thing to note that I overlooked when purchasing, it is clearly marked throughout the addon but it was overlooked on my

Пожалуйста, внимательно прочитайте - CCA означает алюминий, плакированный медью, и не существует руководящего органа, который мог бы сертифицировать характеристики/спецификацию кабеля с рейтингом 5e/6/ 6е and the same. This means that any "guarantees" and "specifications" that vendors make may be fictitious as there is no governing body overseeing these specification claims. I have worked with an OEM to develop a cable that will work at CAT6 level in some environments (which may be unethical)…

Let's face it, this is a cheap brand and it works great.

As with all the mixed reviews, some say they've tried it in wall installations, others say they've used it for commissioned work. I've seen terrible reviews and others say great. Keep in mind that this is NOT pure copper. Basically, it is a cheap Cat6 cable that masters many installation situations. Let's face it, if I'm doing commissioned work for a company, there's no way I'm going to spend $40 on this cable box if they have a backbone or high demand. How much do we charge you, 500? Quite…

Easy work with ethernet cables

Bought for a few short runs (50 feet) for my home network. Since I'm broke and have lots of connectors lying around, I also spent hours crimping RJ45 connectors on these cables to make short 6" patch cords for my panel. So I know the cable quite well and thought I'd write a review. The sheath has a good thickness. The inner plastic core is annoying, but is mandatory for all CAT6 cables, so I can't fault anything about this product. The nylon cord feels of good quality. It's easy to cut both…
