Road Runners seem to have fallen off a cliff since I started using them twenty years ago - no customer service at all. The shoes are great but as expected they fell apart just after 500 miles so this is my second pair this year. I went from 225# to 185# in five months, so they worked! 98% mileage on asphalt or concrete.

When I buy 7.5 wide I am never sure if they will fit my little pig feet and work well. These New Balance 570s are just beautiful. Fits very well and gives me a lot of cushioning when running. My only reason not giving them five stars is that the laces are a bit short for my extra wide feet. I can get a bow, but not a double. Okay, not a very critical issue.

I usually like New Balance shoes and buy them on a regular basis depending on the styles and sizes available. Very unstable heel lining material that differs from the material of the rest of the shoe. The material lacks stability and support, resulting in the shoe not always holding on to the heel.
