Good light but the gooseneck mount is HEAVY!

Bought this flashlight to replace a Lomilie Astra with a bad LED. Basically, for the same price, this is a much better flashlight. .Definitely not suitable for small tanks like this 5 gallon tank. I don't think I'll even try it on my 20 long ones. However, the hanging kit works well. So far I like this lamp

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Stop searching and buy. Serious.

I'm not often impressed. For 50 euros you get an incredibly high-quality LED flashlight with accessories. I ended up making my own mounts for my setup. I actually bought these to hang under my T5 lights as a moonlight. But I am almost certain that there will be no problems with LPS growing. Very high and strong light at high settings. I will be buying these again for my smaller reef aquarium!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Amazing value in that light

This flashlight can do a lot of what much more expensive Kessil flashlights can do. I put it in a planted freshwater aquarium to get the flickering effect of the headlights. It comes with a cute little two-channel controller that remembers the last setting so you can easily control it with a set timer. I would like Nicrew to expand on this lighting style and offer more variety in color temperatures. I'd like to see something specific to plant growth that relies heavily on red and blue LEDs.

Much cheaper than AI Prime

A solid aquarium light so far. Very easy to install. I'm still cycling so don't have any corals yet, but will definitely update my review if there are any lighting issues in the future. There are tons of different lighting settings to choose from. I think it would be easier with a remote control, but maybe I'm just spoiled because my freshwater lanterns work 24/7 and have a remote control, but hopefully that's not a big deal. Edit: I'll bring it back for something more programmable. I want myโ€ฆ

About freshwater aquarium use

I have a 29 gram freshwater aquarium that I wanted to flicker. He's definitely capable of that. This light is a decent value if you buy a controller for it. Very cumbersome without a controller. One more thing, the tool they give you in the box to tighten the screws to mount it is rubbish, don't waste your time even if you try to mount it with just them. It will last a lifetime. I used a 1/2" socket and socket wrench and it installed in no time. The gooseneck bends a bit but isn't superโ€ฆ

Very good reef light

I have 4 of these lights for two 40 growers, two for each. I also have 2 xr15 g5 pro ecotech radions over 75 gallons alongside the 40. The spectrum I set these lights to is very close to the eoctech lights running in Coral Lab ab+ or the LPS profile. On each tank I controlled each channel (blue/white) from a separate power supply. The power supply can be separated from each channel, so I connect the two blue channels of the two lamps to the same power supply and connect that source to my ownโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • I will add later

I never write Revain reviews but for this amazing light I have to! Mine is set to about 50% brightness as it's close to my Nano so it's a pretty bright light. The only problem is that the color intensity and timing cannot be adjusted without a remote control. BUT the remote is worth it! I leave the link here for you to find it because if you need a nano light this is for you! Given the low price of this lamp, the remote control is worth it! As a result, you get a decent lamp with a very durable

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Great flashlight for NANO aquariums, the kit has EVERYTHING you need!

This aquarium light is the best LED light for the money! The spot lighting design creates an iridescent glow as the surface water ripples. Full spectrum colors (red, blue, green, UV and white LEDs) enrich the aquarium dweller's environment. I personally like the color blue, which gives the aquarium a fresh, deep-sea look. The gooseneck is strong and should be pre-adjusted to an approximate position before fully attaching to the glass. Comes complete with everything you need including zip tiesโ€ฆ
