Someone accidentally stepped on an old pan hole on my kitchen island, causing it to stop working. I couldn't figure out how to fix it so I ordered a new one. Connects great and easily. Once I could see how the new one worked, I fixed the old one so I now have a backup in case it happens again. VacPan is the best feature of the central vacuum cleaner for quick cleaning of parquet floors that I use every day.

This unit was perfect for previous vacpan. Installation was easy, but once I finished screwing it into the bottom of the cabinet, the spring chain kit popped out of the peg mount. I had to take it apart and fiddle with the kick lever a few times and the spring kept resetting. So I went to my shop, drilled a hole in the holder's plastic peg and screwed in a thin screw, being careful not to break the whole thing in the process.
