Great blade especially for the money

Ordered 3/4" and 1/4" blades and tuned in 3/4" first and was impressed with the sawing. Didn't know how dull my old blade was and it healed me!

Pros
  • Band saw blades
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other cutters

Very good blade for sawing

I bought this blade to saw a lot. I have a RIKON 10-326 band saw and this blade did a great job of recutting the wood I had to do to make an oversized headboard and it kicked a lot less than if you bought it from Rockler.

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • Exchange option

2 blades cracked. best in Power Tool Parts & Accessories

Each 3/4 inch blade cuts about 45 minutes (I bought 2). Both got a crack while sawing a walnut. I noticed the blade had a "hang" when running my bandsaw, turned it off and noticed a crack almost all the way through, so I put in another blade and the same thing happened about 45 minutes later. UNREAL! Both cracked about 12 inches from the weld. Not once out of more than 20 blades was a blade broken. I will never buy an Olsen blade again, very poorly finished, even the welds are terrible.

Pros
  • Saw Blades, Parts & Accessories
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

Sharp, clean and straight saw blade

Good saw blade. Fits perfectly on my Rikon 10-324 at 111". Just like the old saw blade. Without much setup I was ready to go. I sawed a 1x5 pine board first and as you can see from the photos I ended up with two thin boards 1/4" and a 2mm thin veneer board made from a 3/4 thick (you know what they call 1" par) board. Also the surface finish is very good. I think I will have many problems, this blade is sharp and works clean and straight. Update: I've run through walnut, zebrano, oak and jatoba…

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Difficult to say

I'll try some hardwoods (oak/maple/walnut) and Add more photos of these resawn boards but I don't think I will have many problems, this blade is sharp and works clean…
