Item defective after 4 weeks.

The sensor could not be installed within 2 weeks of purchase due to vehicle usage. 2 weeks after installation the check engine light came on again. I took it to my mechanic and after checking the circuitry and computer he found it was the sensor. It's my fault I waited so long for the report because the return window closed 4 days ago.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Has been damaged

Perfect fit, threads pre-taped

Replaced my original as my coolant was taking too long to cool. This part worked great, was easy to install. The best part is that the threads were already pre-sealed. Nothing needed to be added for a secure closure. Make sure you hand tighten it as I've seen videos of people overtightening and actually cracking the coolant housing.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Security

4 STARS - mainly for *perfect fit for my 1999 3.3 liter Dodge Grand Caravan. *The thread has a protective coating. *Ability to grab and belay with a deep 19mm socket. (had to snap the top plastic connector off the old one to remove it with a deep socket) * 1 star deducted because the price is higher than some branded sensors and slow shipping within 8 days. ALL SAID - IT SOLVES MY PROBLEM. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A MONTH, MY ELECTRIC RADIATOR FANS ARE NOW WORKING PROPERLY.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • so far so good

Would give 1000 stars if possible!

This sensor worked great on my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L engine. I've tried 3-4 inaccurate sensors from other vendors over the last few years and they all read about 20 degrees Fahrenheit too low. They caused me a lot of heartache and many unnecessary repairs before I realized they weren't reading properly. Before spending $80 on an original Mopar sensor, I decided to try a few cheap sensors from multiple manufacturers and see if there was a difference. All plus the old one from the car…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous
