There is no LED backlight, the screen is difficult to see in the car.

Very accurate and withstands professional workshop conditions, but under the hood or in a car the screen is hardly visible as it is not backlit. If it weren't so accurate, this digital multimeter would be useless in a pro shop. dmm should have a backlit screen

Not as expected for diagnostic, test and gauge tools

OTC usually has great products so I didn't hesitate to buy this gauge. Unfortunately my test leads are not up to date as resistance changes as the wires are moved and sometimes the same thing happens with voltage. I use this in automotive testing and getting accurate readings is a must.

OTC should be ashamed to put their name on such GARBAGE! This is cheap artwork at a penny shop.

THIS MULTIMETER IS ANYTHING BUT HEAVY. HEAVY POWER JUST DIRECTLY FROM THE PLASTIC HOUSING IT COMES FROM. OTC should be ashamed to put their name on such GARBAGE! This is an artwork from a discount store CHEAP AND BREAD. It has no quality at all.

Do not recommend

The stand is cheap and thin, after double folding it will not stay closed. I thought the display was backlit and that was the main reason I bought it. I must have looked at a different model because it's not the same. At first I thought it was fake because I have many OTC products that I use in my hobby shop and none of them are as cheap and unreliable as this unit.

Pretty cool so far

I'm a mechanic at an electronics store and I could never figure out how to pay a high price for a Fluke multimeter, so I found this OTC meter and decided to give it a try. I was skeptical of one person's review of "Cheap Chinese Junk" but the meter wasn't. This guy probably needs to buy a random. In any case, this counter turned out to be accurate, reliable and, apparently, not cheap. I am very happy with this purchase.
