Description of πŸ”§ 6577 Hub and Bearing Housing Puller by OTC Tools: Enhanced SEO-friendly Product Title

Removes stubborn hubs when nothing else will. This may separate the bearing, but the unique dual pattern design fits both the wheel hub and bearing housing, capable of applying 20 tons of force. Fits Dodge 3/4 and 1 Ton 4WD 1994-present applications. Also fits GM and Ford 4WD Truck hubs.

which was good because IT IS HEAVY

This hub puller arrived on time, it came in a pack of three which was good because IT IS HEAVY. I believe this tool will last a long time.

Buy it today from Bearing Pullers

This made removing my HUB from my 2013 RAM 3500 4x4 with a 200,000 mile crew cab so easy. Definitely worth the money as you don't have to drive to the dealer.

Reliable tool but didn't work for what I needed

I bought a puller to remove a stuck front wheel bearing hub on a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500. The puller is reliable, but disassembles the bearing housing. instead of removing it from the knuckle.

Cons

Worth the extra money compared to the 6290A! Laugh at the rusty bearing!

A tough tool to say the least. Here is the evolution of my (2001 Dodge 2500) stock removal. If you are interested in purchasing a cheaper version of this tool that is NOT designed for case extraction; Please look at my photos. As others have mentioned; Be sure to lubricate the threads. I am very happy with the quality, ease of use and how quickly the stock came out. The sight of this bare joint is not unlike that of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon at sunset.

Pros
  • Bearing puller
Cons
  • Only available in white
