DIFFICULT TO CLEAN but does the job well.

VERY DIFFICULT TO CLEAN. He understands, but nowhere near the blades that get dirty from eating. I've tried brushes, sponges, washing in vinegar, etc. At the bottom, where the cut grapes are ejected, there are small crevices in the plastic that mold quickly and can't be reached with anything other than a needle or toothpick. Very difficult to clean. However, works so quickly and efficiently for slicing grapes, blueberries, etc for my little one.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Gets gross - difficult to clean

Great device! Ideal for cutting grapes for the little ones. However, it is very difficult to clean and gets dirty pretty quickly. Although part of the cylinder is severed, it is impossible to preserve all of the small grooves and vanes. Even if you put it in the dishwasher, it won't wash off. Assuming someone buying this wants to save time cutting grapes, spend the time saved peeling them. For reference, we used it several times a week for a month.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Something is wrong

I didn't even know it was a thing!

I seriously never knew this existed and existed. When I saw it, I ordered graves and tomatoes to be cut for the little one. I wasn't sure, but I really wanted to try it. After two uses, the spring came loose from the handle but was easy to put back in. If you love salad, you will love it! I love adding small tomatoes and grapes to salads and it cuts the cooking time in half. I'm really impressed with this little gadget.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons

A must for all parents

Overall there were 3 stars. Great tool, the only downside I noticed was that it didn't cut soft grapes perfectly, it squeezed into the blades a bit. But if you use tougher grapes, they cut great! Have also tried this on smaller cotton candy grapes and some of them got stuck in the blades but overall a great tool to avoid wasting precious minutes slicing grapes when you could use it to do other tasks whilst you take care of the children. Every minute saved counts.

  • Like all previously

Great tool but not the easiest to clean

I bought this for my weaned baby because it was getting annoying to cut everything and I saw a lady on TikTok using it. I use this tool for grapes, tomato grapes and blueberries. The tool itself works great, it's simple and easy to use. However, I feel like I'll never be able to properly clean this tool. Yes, it splits in two to make it easier to clean, but the serrated blades always get stuck in the blades I'm cutting. The part that pushes the food into the blades also gets the food stuck…

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Some problems

This is amazing stuff!

I used it on my sons and DIL first. Bought it for my grandson to cut grapes as they can choke. He cuts it into 4 lengthwise slices. I liked it so much I had to take it myself. I use it for slicing tomatoes. SUCH A TIME SAVER! I can't tell you how much time I saved slicing my grape tomatoes instead of slicing them by hand! It works great 98% of the time. Maybe a little softer. If your grapes or tomatoes are a little soft, they can crush. But even then, if you just keep pressing, it'll still cut.
