Pearl IZUMi Softshell Jacket Medium Review

I can't believe how warm this jacket is. I was riding in 25 degrees in just a thin compression shirt and this jacket and I was sweating within 5 miles. I have to warn people about the size. I'm 5ft 8in, 185lbs and bought the XL. It fits well on the chest and stomach, but the arms are 4 inches longer. I'm sure if I had an L it would be too tight in the body. I'm keeping it because it's so warm. I also have a white one and I like how it looks at night.

I'm 5-11 years old, 165 and medium fits well - snug but not tight. It's fairly light and feels no different than my lined winter tank top (which I ride in temperatures of 40-60 degrees). right on the temperature. It's a little over the shoulders as far as the wind goes, but a decent long-sleeved undershirt will keep any of that from hitting your skin. I'm about 5ft 11" and 145 pounds. This jacket fits very well. Tight fitting on the sides and arms of great length. Good zipper design and pocket placement. The red color matched the photos. Nice and hot so far. I've ridden it twice under 60 with a t-shirt underneath and had to unzip it after a few miles to let air in. Blocks still blow well.
