Good tight tolerances

I have used these bearings and other PGN bearings to overhaul reel and spindle motors in high end reel traction machines. these bearings have not previously required any additional installation effort. Good product.

Almost perfect - deep groove ball bearing

were damaged I used one to replace a 6 1/2 inch hand held circular saw bearing. Right out of the box each bearing had some tolerance/play which I didn't expect from a novelty. I thought that the new bearing would have no play, that it would be stiff (meaning no movement other than turning is allowed)... Comparing the tolerance/side play between used and new... I will say that old had less wobbly. The only difference between the new and old was the lack of lubrication on my old ones which have…

Not the worst, but definitely close.

Sigh, what does it take to get decent bearings around here? All 4 bearings do not rotate freely. In fact, they are so bad that they cannot make a single revolution themselves. Either the tolerances are bad or the balls are so full of dirt that they can't turn round. If you only want to do low-speed applications with it like skateboards or slow-spinning cars, you should be fine. But anything with high RPM will get excessively hot and warp over time. The build is absolutely frustrating as this is
