Great product - not great service until I get a bad review.

I had a problem with the first VCR I got but they didn't give me a replacement until I gave a bad review and then everyone tried to change the review. They did the right thing in the end but I wish they had done it without a bad review. The product itself was great on the second try. the first didn't work.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Short instructions

Purchased Junk

Have Junk. The VCR worked intermittently and the DVD player didn't work at all. The device did not come with a remote control. In the description was also a remote control. The AV cables were old and loose fitting to the unit. I was very, very disappointed. I was dying to get the machine working so I could enjoy my family's old video tapes, some of which had passed away.

Pros
  • Excellent General Qualities
Cons
  • Doubtful

VCR worked well, remote didn't work

To be honest I didn't expect much from a used VCR. I came across some old family videotapes and wanted to see them. So I bought this VCR/DVD player. The supplied remote control didn't work at all, but I was able to figure out how to operate the VCR using the buttons on the front of the unit. This suited me at this price point because I rarely look at the three or four videocassettes I have.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not automatic
