Unwinding the roll there were two distinct separations of the paper from the backing. I carefully unfolded the paper to the gaps and placed the paper on the pad. It then adhered well to the backing, but when I unfolded the paper, I still couldn't align it completely on the desk no matter how hard I pushed, pulled, or pinned the paper. This results in my pattern pieces not matching perfectly. The paper is very thick, with good memory. Not sure how it will work (stay), narrow or small pieces.

This product is as described. If you follow the instructions it works great. I didn't burn the paper onto the glass the first time I used it and didn't leave it for a while and it was hard for me to stick it. The second time I used it it was perfect. My only issue with this is that it curls into a tight roll that's difficult to straighten without crumpling it. Don't waste your money. I made 4 pieces with this pattern paper and I am absolutely sure I will never use them again!
