not for outdoor use!

I would say 1 star is probably right. It mixed and solidified as indicated. After that NOT what I expected! It says UV protected. no way! There's nothing about how thick it has to be to keep it transparent. I got this resin specifically for outdoor countertops because it was listed as UV protected. Also, I expected sea supplies to be used outdoors. It mixes great (I used a mechanical mixer for 2 minutes for each batch). It's really solidified. It was nice and clear and looked good. I just hadโ€ฆ

ProMarine does NOT recommend its products. Even if their product batch is bad.

I made a layered infill that was 2 inches deep. This was done over several days to ensure curing between coats. Surface cast and only 1/4 inch thick at the deepest point. After about 3 hours the filling was completely clear and beautiful as I tried to remove any bubbles that had risen to the surface. When I checked the filling a few hours later, the entire thickness was filled with microbubbles. They are trapped everywhere. The third filling came from bottles of this product ordered atโ€ฆ

I don't buy anymore.

Update: lots of bubbles, but putting hardener and resin separately in warm water for a few minutes and working in a warm room helped. Still less than 45 minutes to work, more than 20. You need to prep all your paints before mixing. My coasters turned out well so I'll try again. Not impressed with the amount of bubbles, but using a heat gun while running versus the end helps a bit. And check back every few minutes after completion to catch a few that come up before things get too difficult. Theโ€ฆ
