Nifty little gadget works great

Purchased this to monitor oxygen levels for COVID-19 after reading about its use. I learned that younger people who do not get admitted to the hospital have been advised to monitor their oxygen levels at home, to make sure that they do not drop below 95. If oxygen drops below that, it is imperative to get to the hospital to avoid having to be put on a ventilator. Hoping that I do not have to say that this device saved my life, but I'm thankful to have it in case I become infected. My parents…

Pros
  • Has helped track my level and is very helpful
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for older adults with arthritis or other hand mobility issues

Beautiful, fast refresh

Does just what it is suppose to. It is easy to use and good quality for the price. OLED screen is really nice! Glad it takes normal 'AAA' batteries. buy some rechargeable batteries if you use it a lot and save some money. Other wise I would think the batteries it comes with would last a long time if you just use it a couple times a day. The only complaint I would have is the font-size for the Perfusion Index or PI is a little small. Besides that it is a very nice monitor.

Pros
  • Works great for hubby. Great buy.
Cons
  • The device may not work well on individuals with dark skin tones

Easy to use good for me

I Like it. Lightweight, Simple to use. Came with batteries. The screen is easy to read and automatically rotates so you can read it no matter how you want to hold your hand. The user manual is not the greatest (sections zig-zag down the page from the right side to the left side. Looks like it was laid out to be a booklet but then printed on a single sheet) But you don't need the user manual to use this, it's just that simple.

Pros
  • Good for the price.
Cons
  • The device may not provide accurate readings for individuals with irregular heartbeats

exactly what was needed

My wife contracted Covid 19, as a result one of her problems was Pulse Oxygen level was very low. I wanted to get a device that would have the same accuracy as the providers Pulse Oxygen meter. This one has held up and gives an accurate measurement. I provides a lot of help determining if her pulse oxygen level is too low. That way she can determine whether or not to use the oxygen breathing tube. Glad we bought it. I even use it to measure how I'm doing. I'd definitely buy this device again.

Pros
  • use everyday to keep track of breathing efficiency
Cons
  • The product may not be reliable during strenuous physical activity

Great Product - my new review

I purchased this oximeter to track my oxygen levels while I was sick with Covid. This helped me so much with monitoring my oxygen levels as well as giving me a peace of mind that I was okay. I also used it on my boyfriend and my 12 year old. The batteries it came with it were not that good. But for them to give some to start you off was nice. I defiantly recommend purchasing this is you are dealing with Covid. Our Dr had recommended for us to check twice a day. When they were calling for our…

Pros
  • Non-invasive method for monitoring blood oxygen levels and heart rate
Cons
  • The device may not be suitable for individuals with chronic illnesses or diseases

hard to decipher for a senior

While this is practical, there's TMI on the face of the meter. Hard to read for old eyes, especially when you just want oxygen reading.

Pros
  • Affordable price point makes it accessible for most budgets
Cons
  • The Pulse Oximeter Fingertip may not be able to detect changes in oxygen saturation levels in individuals with lung conditions

Cons
  • The device may not be able to detect any abnormalities in heart rate or SpO2 levels

Peace of mind good for me

Our pediatrician suggested we monitor kiddo’s heart date while he’s in a medical trial. This is affordable and effective… and it arrived quickly. Simple enough to use and to read.

Pros
  • Easy to use. Not expensive.
Cons
  • The product may not be able to detect oxygen saturation levels accurately in extreme temperatures

Accurate and easy to use

This pulse oximeter came quickly and was a great price. It arrived neatly and safely packaged in a small box. After opening it, I found the directions placed right on top, which were incredibly easy to follow and understand. Next, came the pulse oximeter, which had a layer of film protecting the lcd screen. New batteries were located below the pulse oximeter. I literally installed the batteries and it was ready to go. You place it on your finger, press the button, and let it do the work. I…

Pros
  • Solid product, good value
Cons
  • The device may require frequent calibration to maintain accuracy

Cheap & easy: my feedback

Simple to use & easy to read for this 70 year old guy who had a hip replacement & only spent 1 night in the hospital. I have an abnormal very low heart rate which at nights drops into the low 40’s, so keeping track on my oxygen is critical for my health & this device helps quickly & easily

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for individuals with poor circulation or blood flow

Easy to use and store

This is my first oximeter, so I have no personal reference about accuracy to provide. However, it is easy to use and easy to read.

Pros
  • Provides accurate and instant readings of blood oxygen levels and heart rate
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for individuals with allergies to certain materials or chemicals

By far the best value I've seen in pulse oximeters

I have had three pulse oximeters and looked at dozens of them. This one is by far the best value for the price that I have seen. It has a full color, high-resolution display that allows for showing a real-time trace of the signal. Not only is seeing this in real time cool, I argue that I can get more accurate results because I have a better understanding of how holding still and waiting the appropriate amount of time will improve the accuracy and stability of the results. The only dings I would

Pros
  • Gives accurate readings quickly.
Cons
  • The device may not provide consistent readings for individuals with low blood pressure

Easy of use. good for me

The read out is easy to read and understand. Blood oxygen and Pulse rate are displayed in large type. There is also a graph at the bottom showing your heart rhythm. And there is a bar chart showing the intensity of your heartbeat. I tried to take deep breathe and it raised my blood oxygen to 99% from 96%. It is also sensitive to any body activity that increases your pulse rate. Overall a great Heath device and easy to use.

Pros
  • Accurate and Fast -- This oxygen monitor can accurately determine your SpO2 (blood oxygen saturation levels), heart rate and pulse strength in 8 seconds and display it conveniently on a large digital LCD display.
Cons
  • The Pulse Oximeter Fingertip may not be suitable for individuals with Raynaud's Syndrome

Takes a while to register correctly

We have a much more expensive pulse oximeter but bought this when we had covid so we could both have one. This one gave similar values but it would take quite a while to register compared to our other one. Just don't panic right away if it shows your oxygen is low. Wait a minute until it stabilizes.

Pros
  • Helps people with sleep apnea to track oxygen levels and identify potential issues
Cons
  • The product may not be able to provide accurate readings for individuals with irregular rhythms such as tachycardia or bradycardia

It’s ok for the price

I work in the medical field and my job requires me to check oxygenation sat’s constantly throughout the day. These devices are handy for when a dynamap or monitor aren’t readily available such as with ambulating. I purchased this one as a backup or for lending to students & coworkers when they forget theirs. It works fairly well, within a percent of accuracy when correlating with a dynamap or continuous monitor. For the price it costs, that’s a pretty good deal. It does however feel and look…

Pros
  • its what I expected
Cons
  • The device may not be user-friendly for individuals with hearing impairments

Takes normal AAA batteries!

I sent this to my 70 year old mother when she developed symptoms of Covid-19 in order to have some objective data if she ended up with a bad case. It arrived in less than 2 days-on the day she tested positive for the virus.I chose this one out of the others because it uses AAA batteries, not some hard to find or expensive battery. It was easy to read, accurate with just putting the finger in without much thought (increased accuracy if you pressed the pad of finger down and made the PI/pulse…

Pros
  • Great value for money. Used when I was sick
Cons
  • The product may not be easy to read in low light conditions

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not very accurate. good for me

I work at the hospital. Doesn’t read accurately compared to our other monitors. Probably not the best if you need super accurate oxygen results.

Pros
  • Last brand I ordered didn't work. This one does.
Cons
  • The Pulse Oximeter Fingertip may become unreliable with frequent use

Easy to Use Oximeter

During the whole COVID situation, one can not be too careful when keeping track of their health. A good thermometer is essential, and an oximeter is the next best diagnostic tool. This product works great, it's just super simple to use and gives you an easy read out of your blood oxygen level and your pulse. Couldn't be simpler to use, just insert your finger and press the button and wait.just a few seconds and hope your number is 95 or above. Stay healthy out there everyone! :)

Pros
  • Can be a helpful tool for individuals with COVID-19 to monitor their oxygen levels and seek medical attention if necessary
Cons
  • The device may give false readings due to electromagnetic interference

Different model from first purchase

They changed the model, I came back to my purchases and bought item again because I liked the features from my original purchase with multi colored lcd, pleth graph, and auto rotating screen. This unit I just repurchased has none of the above. Kind of disappointed. I feel they took a step backwards with this model. debating just returning it.

Pros
  • Reliable Oximeter Monitor -- Our pulse oximeter could provide you accurate SpO2, pulse rate and bar graph results. It could help you to understand your body conditions and will be a important step towards the health lifestyle.
Cons
  • The Pulse Oximeter Fingertip may not be user-friendly for individuals with physical disabilities

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Has all the features I wanted

I am very happy with this Oximeter. Besides measuring blood oxygen level and heart beat rate, it also shows each pulse in real time with an animated bar and a faint high pitch beep. The color LCD display has a gravity sensor and rotates in 4 directions just like a smart phone. The clamp is fairly easy to squeeze open for young people, but older folks may need assistance. The pinching force is just right, and the inside has foam padding. The packaging is compact and stylish. I was unable to…

Pros
  • Suitable for individuals of all ages, including seniors and children
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for individuals with certain physical deformities or abnormalities
