Very good quality for fasteners

Bought to attach a metal fastener to fiberglass which I had no access to at the back and ended up with a strong connection.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Expandable

Ideal for attaching to large holes

These rivets are great for reattaching steel plates to fiberglass that had oval holes from previous loose rivets. Standard rivets don't hold.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Something different

Exactly what I needed.

A previous Ford Ranger door lock cable repair left large holes in the door frame (0.283 inch). I wanted to use this 3/16" rivet instead of the 1/4" so I added a #10 washer to the blind side of the door frame. Worked great!

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Expensive

Weak! Break easily!

Expect more from these pop studs! I think they are only suitable for very light work. When tightening, several spacers broke, others broke after a short time. time of use. Only two plates (plastic and metal) riveted.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • I'll add later

Works as advertised

Used to repair an RV awning bracket that has come loose from the wall. They install correctly and easily just like other pop rivets. The hole was enlarged by removing the previous rivets and these rivets worked great to get everything together. Time will tell how they hold up in the van ride. At the moment I am very satisfied. BTW these are open rivets (hole in the head) so sealant was essential for my application.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

These strong hand rivets cannot break them

I was concerned that being aluminum they would not have enough strength to fit a rear view mirror to a 45 year old car with trimmed doors. holes . This worry went away as soon as I did a test run. These things hold up. I bet they hold tight enough to dent the inside of the door panel if I don't use a washer. It should be noted that if you are using a hand riveter you may not be able to break the mandrel. I'm not even sure if they should break, but in my case it doesn't matter since the mandrel…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black
