I liked it at first. It's light, slim, and fits right into my bag without messing things up, and has plenty of angle options to accommodate my books while I'm moving in my seat. I like the compactness of this stand and the overall design. However, it didn't work for my use case with different books, so I'm sending mine back. Here is my experience with the three types of reading material: Magazines - Works very well. Hardcover Books - Works well with medium sized hardcover books. The stand is suitable for textbooks with at least 1000 pages that open flat (like most). However, with paperback and hardcover books, the plastic pins are not strong enough to hold the book in place, at best, one of the pages becomes very wavy and difficult to read, especially towards the beginning and end of the book.
