No use - just toss the whole box straight into the compost

It's literally garbage (compost) right out of the box. If you try to take the bag off the roll and open it, it immediately shatters into pieces (I've tried several bags - be careful!), rendering them completely useless. Possibly a defective reel based on other reviews but definitely a waste of money.

Pros
  • compost bag
Cons
  • thin

Fragile and unreliable

I strongly do not recommend them! They ripped as soon as they were taken out of the box. They rip every time you touch the bag. They cannot be filled with compost. I had to use 5-FIVE bags to try and get some semblance of structure to throw away my little compost and I still had to use a paper bag to be able to carry the compost. Don't waste your money on this product.

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • So far so good

Ditch those bags and save yourself the sadness

Great! The compostable bag is the perfect size for my kitchen jar. I was impressed with these bags until I opened the box and tried them. Two, three, four the first time. (You get the idea) the bag I unwrapped and ripped along the perforation immediately tore the entire front. I was very careful after the first two but they still ripped when I tried to open them and put them in the jar. I gave up. Save your money and whim and look for other biodegradable bags.

Pros
  • paper and plastic
Cons
  • boring packaging
