The right angle does the job right.

I installed this on my 2018 Toyota Tundra and need a right angle for my Kenwood ODBII forks. Helps to free the plug for other uses later. Good qualification, works.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

Works best in diagnostic, test and measurement tools

I was hoping this inexpensive cable would work with both my truck's AMP auto-leveling and dash cam. Worked fantastic. I wish there was some sort of locking tab on the connectors. I felt like I had to wrap a small electric faucet around them to hold them together. I can't comment on the durability of the product, but it works great

Works exactly as described. no problem

The only suggestion for improvement would be that they don't "snap in" when connected. But I suspect this is a limitation of the OBD2 connector design itself, not this product. We bought this splitter for all of our trucks and used a zip tie to "secure" the connection so it wouldn't fall off. I'm not sure if that's going to happen, but we just wanted to make sure. We used this splitter to connect an ELD GPS device.

Pros
  • Chic design
Cons
  • Speed

Worked for two months

I bought this for my Ram 2500 Power Wagon. I have AMP Power Steps and needed to connect something else to the ODB port. This worked out of the box for exactly 2 months but then stopped working on a weekend getaway. Let me tell you, it was crazy to find out what sounds I kept hearing as I drove down the freeway. I finally realized that my power steps were up and down. It's too late to return. I put up with it and ended up buying an overpriced AMP splitter. It's working well so far. One more…

  • Easy to use

  • boring packaging

Exactly what I need. I wanted this to work for my application.

I bought this because I recently installed a two din stereo with backup camera etc. The stereo is connected to obd2. I think knowing that the car is going backwards and some other functions. I already had a scanner to monitor gas mileage and fluid temp. So the obd2 splitter seemed like the perfect solution. Worked great for the first few weeks, then one day all my sensors and warning lights went haywire. At first it seemed like a disastrous failure. Then I remembered the splinter. What I…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Great OBD2 splitter!

Subaru Crosstrek, Sawyer Tuning ST8PRO Stage 3 (this gave a significant increase in performance), Performance Chip (faster sync) and OBDlink MX diagnostic tool along with the Torque Pro app work great together. Both OBD2 chips work at the same time, which is pretty cool. I bought two other Y hubs that were 26 AWG and the power light on the diagnostic chip just kept blinking. With this 24 AWG wire, the light on the diagnostic chip came on as it should. The only difficulty was connecting the Y…

Pros
  • High test results for support and durability
