Medium Adjustable Roller Derby Skate Review

My child wears size 1 shoes. We bought him a large skate which was supposed to be adjustable between sizes 3-6. When we adjusted the skates to the largest size and had the kid put them on, they reached his 1 foot size and there was almost no room left. He will probably outgrow them in 3 months. Your dimensional schema has nothing to do with a commonly accepted dimensional schema. I had to send them back.

So far so good. They really do adjust to different sizes and the way they do it is very clever. This is not at all like those skates that are fitted and worn over sneakers. The inner lining (lined with durable fabric) has a Velcro closure and can be lengthened. The rigid part of the skate is also lengthened by pressing a button next to the heel of the skate. it took my 6 year old a few tries to figure out the buckles but once he did it was very easy to do himself. They arrived with the soft part of the foot in skates (almost like a thick sock) and we didn't take them off, just put the foot in. The outer part is made of hard plastic and is adjustable in size. I ordered these skates yesterday and we received them today. My son usually fits a size 2 so I'm glad I bought the large. With these skates he still has some leeway. Excellent value for money. The size corresponds to reality, the skates are easily adjustable. The wheels and bearings are also easy to adjust and work great both indoors and outdoors. The insoles or foot pads could have been thicker, we just added thicker socks. We bought these skates during a recent growth spurt and are very glad they have held up well. I bought these skates for both my sons. They are 7 and 9 years old and wear 1.5 and 2.5 US big boy shoe sizes. I bought them both large skates (2-4) and they both say they fit.
