I needed something unobtrusive to work with and this would help. Small enough to fit in my laptop bag and generates enough heat to keep you a little warm. The outlet can get a little warm, so touch it and let it cool before putting it in your bag or box. All in all I would buy more.

I have arthritis in my fingers and my fingers get cold and hurt while I work. I tried wearing gloves and a heated mouse pad and it didn't work. I received it yesterday and I LOVE it. Small enough to fit on my desk, it only emits heat where I need it. I highly recommend this product if you need local heat.

Just took it out of the box and plugged it in to make sure it works and to see how well it handles the heat. It has great instant heat dissipation but doesn't project it very far. I'm sure it will heat up the room in 15-30 minutes if left in a small enclosed space (e.g. an office). I will use it as an emergency mini heater during a power outage with our small generator.

UPDATE: the manufacturer replaced the product free of charge. Upgrading the rating to what my original rating would have been.
