Unfortunately this radio does not work for AM stations. I bought the radio in October 2019. .After using the radio for a short time, the radio does not tune to AM stations. The included earbuds were in the molded cut outs of the plastic blister pack and one of them broke when I took it out of the box. Likewise, they are not comfortable at all and their sound quality is poor. The foam padding is next to nothing and they were like having hard plastic objects stuffed into my ears. This is a great radio I don't think it could be better for the price digital radio with 19 preset stations and very easy to use they made it very easy use use. Nice big numbers on the display, very good quality.
