This will be my third child and I understand that a large diaper bag is not needed. This bag size is perfect, not too big or too small. I think the size is adequate to accommodate the integrated changing mat/carry bag that is attached. I also like that the detachable pillow is big enough even if you want to change your baby without using part of the carrycot. We bought our travel bag for our 3 month old to use as a travel cot and diaper bag. The pull out bed is very spacious. Snaps in the staves make the sides strong and easy to insert. The bag has a slightly greenish tint. The insulated side pocket is great, when full it takes up space inside. Lots of pockets, zippers and so on. I love this thing! It benefits our boy so often. If we didn't want to carry a heavy booster seat, we just grabbed a diaper bag and left, knowing we could always open the bed. We used this as an extra bed on holiday as we didn't have extra room to pack and play.
