Non-resettable - switches and relays

Junk. I've been using it for about 2 months. It worked and now it won't start. Also, the screw rack is not tightened to the end. As for the waterproof coating. Good luck belaying with two wires underneath.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • No machine

Too small for a 50 amp connection

A 55 pound trolling motor requires 50 amps, but you can't connect thick wires without touching. The messages are too close to connect. Probably ok for 20, maybe 30 amps. I had to cut off half of the cover to try and connect. I had to throw it away.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Some errors

could do better on switches

Comes with a wire pole nut. So I have to get another one. It's annoying. The reset button seems cheaper than a happy dinner toy. I think we'll see how long that lasts. I wouldn't buy again but it's not worth the hassle of sending it back. I think they will win. Another one sold.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Trade-in available

Works but comes with no instructions

This is one of the few products I've ever bought online that came with no installation instructions. I'm a pretty handy guy but was disappointed with the facility. Thanks to YouTube and a few other websites for finding out. It's a lot easier to go to your local auto parts store and install an in-line fuse for 1/4 the cost. I would not use this product again.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • No performance

Works great - switches and relays

Why risk shifting with a trolling motor? Super easy installation. Works with the fast pull required by a 35lb trolling motor without tripping. A built-in glass fuse is not required. I crimped the connectors which makes the installation more accurate. The rubber coating should make it legal for US Coast Guard inspections of electric boat equipment.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I'll add later

Neat cheap packaging

Molded case circuit breaker with the necessary nuts and a fitted cover. I suggest securing the sides of the cover with tape after attaching it to the switch so it doesn't accidentally come loose. To attach it to the positive lead wire you will need wire cutters, wire strippers, crimping tools and two terminal rings, 12-10 AWG, 8-10 pin.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Hard to find circuit breaker

I went to about 5 car dealerships and Walley World to find a circuit breaker for my trolling motor but couldn't find one. I was so glad I found this because the ones I found that I would have to modify to make it work were almost 4 times the price. Thank God for Revane!. It's way better than a fuse as I don't have to carry extra fuses for my trolling motor, just flip the switch if it blows and I'm on my way again. I will buy another one just to have. Hey give her I have a reason to buy another…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable
