I needed these to convert the port on the back of my gaming monitor so I could use a very long USB cable to connect to a computer in a create another space. I needed the peripheral ports on the monitor and this is the port that powers them. I couldn't find a cable that was long enough and affordable, so this piece was an even better solution.

This is a USB form factor converter that does exactly what it's supposed to do. One side is female type A, the other side is male type B.

I tried to use this to connect the network adapter. That does not work. The PC didn't even recognize anything connected. The port was also a USB-A 3.0 port.

I cannot use this item. Apparently I ordered the wrong type of printer port. I had to order a USB 1.0-2.0 B socket. Even though I bought under Prime, the UPS still costs about the same to give me a refund.
