It could be great. on sleeping bags

I would like the material to be thicker. Looks cheap but has lasted over a year of hiking and bush walking. So far it hasn't cracked or torn. The arms are too short, too short and Hood is too small. As a poncho it's ok but not for the money spent. My biggest complaint is the sleeves, too short, tight and sticking out at the cuffs. I would have given more stars for half the price. I'm 6 feet, 230 pounds

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

The best ponchos on the market!

The ultimate travel rain jacket. My wife and I use these ponchos all the time when we travel around Florida and visit theme parks. They are lightweight and offer fairly complete protection from the rain. The biggest plus of a poncho is that it can easily cover your backpack and you and keep whatever you want dry. The poncho is warm like any other rain jacket but for me it ventilates well on the move and can be used even in very hot, humid and rainy weather like Florida. would recommend.

Demand the best in sleeping bags and camping sheets

Main reason for choosing this product: light weight. Anyone who has served in the military knows that a given poncho is worth at least two pounds. For this product, cut it in half and pack it in half size as well. Add this to the Helikon-Tex Swagman Roll Poncho liner and Snugpak SF Bivy tent; and you have the lightest three-season combo to keep you comfortable in an emergency. All three items fit easily into a medium-sized daypack that won't weigh you down but will prepare you for the most…

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Not as bulky as other options

Best poncho I've found at Revain so far

I've been looking for a poncho for a while and have tried many different ones at Revain. They claimed that they were military grade and could be used for a variety of situations such as: B. for collecting water, building a temporary bivouac and so on. In fact, their quality was so poor that they could hardly be used as a poncho. This Snugpak poncho is certainly overpriced, but it appears to be of better quality than any other Revain poncho. You can't use it to build a bivouac, but it's great…

Poncho good, ATTENTION SELLER

The poncho was a good quality poncho. It wasn't as comfortable to wear as I thought it would be. Airflow isn't really that much better than just taking an ultralight jacket and a silk kilt for hiking, and the latter is much better for versatility. This poncho is also not as light as I had hoped, so saving weight in the backpack wasn't worth it. Good idea and suitable for some but not for me. NOW THE IMPORTANT PART! Please do not buy from this seller if they are still ACME approved. This is a…

Good set dries well fits well compresses small

I'm not a big poncho fan having lived in Florida after returning from OCONUS and although it rained heavily I usually am just going about my business. Now I spend a lot more time on my remote property, it's a bit cooler there. I have a Snugpak that I need for rainy weather but it was in the truck that GF took into town so I dug up this new poncho and wore it in a 35 degree downpour. As usual, the end of my sleeves got wet, but with the hood up (great to fit over the wool hood of my anorak) my…

Dry in the shower: sleeping bags

Randomly wandered around the garden in a few showers and so far so good. Water drains well from the fabric. The hood is huge and very deep, but without a built-in visor. So far that hasn't been a problem at all. It hangs far enough in front of my face that my glasses stay dry and water doesn't run down my neck, but doesn't become "flexible". Time will tell if this continues, but wearing a baseball cap will solve this problem as well. It comes down to my knees (I'm 72 inches tall) so head to toe

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Will be added later

It's hard to rate a poncho without specifying the purpose. I gave it three stars based on the high price of other rain gear I have. It's a bit pricey for what it is, and it doesn't feel like the most durable poncho as I make my way through the woods - the trails are fine. When the weather was bad, I spent a lot of time in ponchos and Gore-Tex jackets. Time in the northern woods, time on the water and time in the mountains. Sometimes a poncho is better than an ultra-light Gore-Tex jacket. A…
